Furthermore, Mondi’s commitment to environmental initiatives is highlighted through the inclusion of the colour green on the new packaging, branding this commitment under the ‘Green Range’ banner.

What is the Green Range? The Green Range banner is an element of Mondi’s ethos of sustainability. It covers a product family which protects the environment, leaf for leaf. The Green Range consists entirely of FSC certified paper from well managed forests, TCF (totally chlorine free) paper and 100% recycled paper. Mondi Rotatrim gains membership through its FSC certification. The aim is to give consumers the assurance that when you choose a product from the Green Range, you get great quality without compromising on environmental performance.

FSC certified paper	FSC stands for "Forest Stewardship Council", one of the most important international certification systems for forest management. The Council‘s seal is awarded to wood products from all over the world that result from forest management practices that are guaranteed to be exemplary and so support the long-term preservation of forests and their biological diversity. The award is granted on the basis of international principles, taking into account ecological and economic requirements as well as social factors. Our forests in South Africa were awarded full FSC certification in the 1990s.
TCF paper	TCF means "totally chlorine free". We bleach our TCF products (BIO TOP 3®, IQ TRIOTEC® unique and MAESTRO® TRIOTEC® TCF) using oxygen and hydrogen peroxide to ensure waste water is not impurified with any harmful chlorine compounds and that no pollutants enter the food chain. Our patented 'sandwich' technology enables us to use recycled fibres between high-quality primary fibres in our IQ TRIOTEC® unique and MAESTRO® TRIOTEC® papers.
